Crestron Introduces DM NAX Intelligent Audio Platform and 1 Beyond i12D Camera to Deliver AI-Ready Collaboration Experiences in Meeting Spaces

Rockleigh, NJ – February 2, 2026 – Crestron Electronics, a global leader in workplace collaboration technology, today announced two new solutions designed to simplify how organizations deliver professional, AI-ready meeting experiences at scale: the DM NAX® Intelligent Audio platform and the 1 Beyond i12D intelligent camera. Together, these solutions bring network-based audio and intelligent multi-camera video to everyday huddle, medium, and large meeting rooms without the complexity of traditional custom systems.

“Hybrid meetings have made it painfully clear that audio and video can’t be an afterthought,” said Joel Mulpeter, senior director of product marketing at Crestron. “With DM NAX Intelligent Audio and the 1 Beyond i12D, we’re giving organizations a simple, scalable way to deploy crystal-clear audio and engaging, intelligent video in the rooms people use every day so AI assistants hear every word, remote participants stay engaged, and IT teams aren’t buried in complexity.”

DM NAX Intelligent Audio: One Platform, Infinite Possibilities
The DM NAX Intelligent Audio platform is a network-based audio ecosystem that delivers crystal-clear collaboration across an expanding lineup of microphones, speaker pods, and PoE speakers, all orchestrated by the DM NAX AP-100 audio processor. It’s designed to eliminate the installation nightmares and inconsistent performances that have historically plagued meeting room audio.

Built on a network-first architecture, DM NAX leverages Crestron DM NVX® technology for audio-over-IP, PoE for single-cable simplicity, and AES67 compatibility to integrate additional third-party microphones such as Sennheiser® TeamConnect Ceiling solutions. Devices auto-discover on the network, cutting configuration time and making it easy to scale from a single huddle room to a global estate of collaboration spaces.

Every DM NAX configuration is pre-validated for performance, whether it uses Crestron microphone and speaker pods, in-ceiling PoE speakers, or hybrid designs with third-party microphones. That means integrators can deploy a single device in a small room or a full array of in-ceiling microphones and PoE speakers in a boardroom with confidence that the design has already been engineered and tested by Crestron.

The platform is engineered for AI-ready performance. Advanced DSP—including acoustic echo cancellation (AEC), automatic gain control (AGC), noise reduction, and auto-mixing—is built into every configuration, while “direction of arrival” audio allows the system to track who is speaking for natural conversation and intelligent video integration. Audio is tuned specifically to support Microsoft Copilot® software , ensuring assistants and transcription services capture every word accurately.

“For our dealers, DM NAX is about reducing time-to-audio and callbacks,” noted Mulpeter. “You get PoE-powered devices that discover themselves on the network, validated room designs for every space type, and Teams certification that takes the guesswork out of compatibility. It’s a platform you can standardize on for years to come.”

1 Beyond i12D: Intelligent Multi-Camera Video in a Single Device
Many meeting rooms need professional speaker tracking and dynamic views but don’t warrant the infrastructure of a fully customized multi-camera system. The 1 Beyond i12D bridges that gap by delivering three 4K cameras, built-in microphones for speaker detection, and Visual AI for speaker framing and tracking in a single, streamlined device.

The i12D features dual 4K PTZ lenses with 12x optical zoom for crisp speaker close-ups and a 4K wide-angle lens for full-room framing and AI analysis. Onboard Visual AI powers automatic group framing, speaker tracking, and composition modes, including picture-in-picture and Conversation Mode. Meanwhile intelligent switching can coordinate views with up to four companion 1 Beyond cameras without the need for Automate VX, resulting in an engaging, multi-angle experience that keeps remote participants connected in medium and large spaces.

Built-in microphone arrays are used exclusively for speaker location detection up to 25 feet, allowing organizations to pair the i12D with the audio system of their choice. Reference audio can be brought in via AES67 or analog connections to avoid false triggers and ensure accurate tracking. With USB-C® and HDMI® outputs, RTSP streaming, and certifications for Microsoft Teams® Rooms and Zoom® Rooms, the i12D supports a wide range of standardized and BYOD conferencing environments.

“The 1 Beyond i12D takes the intelligence of a multi-camera system and packages it into a single device that you can just plug in and go,” said Mulpeter. “It’s ideal for the medium and large rooms that are too important for a basic webcam but don’t need the complexity of a fully custom deployment.”

An Ecosystem Built for IT, Integrators, and Hybrid Workforces
Crestron’s validated DM NAX configurations and plug-and-play i12D deployments reduce engineering time, speed up installations, and make it easier for integrators to deliver consistent experiences across global enterprises.  Together with the new 80 Series Touch Screens revamping user interaction, Collab Compute establishing a standardized, AI-ready core for collaboration, and AutoMeasure transforming video installation with automation and precision, Crestron simplifies design, deployment, and management at scale. The result is a cohesive ecosystem that empowers IT teams, integrators, and users alike while delivering seamless, future-ready experiences wherever people work and learn.

Crestron’s ISE 2026 announcements underscore the company’s platform-driven vision for the future of intelligent spaces, bringing high-level security, AI-ready performance, and consistent, intuitive control to diverse environments.

The DM NAX Intelligent Audio platform and the 1 Beyond i12D intelligent camera are expected to be available in Q2 2026 through Crestron’s authorized dealers and distribution partners worldwide.
