Elite Prime Vision, the dedicated Custom Install division of Elite Screens Inc., today announced the development of its PolarStar-eFinity “Edge-Free” projection screen with ambient light-rejecting properties and 3D polarization.
“Edge-Free implies the absence of the traditional frame that borders the edge of a typical fixed projection screen. In addition to the essentially frameless projected image, the EPV concept takes this further by offering it as a disassembled product. This way, it’s less costly to ship and does not come with the same logistical issues that accompany shipping a fully assembled projection screen.” said Jeff Klida, VP of Sales for Elite Prime Vision. “The eFinity design incorporates this beautiful new look with its award-winning PolarStar ALR material and the results are just fantastic.”
The eFinity design is EPV’s answer to persistent customer demand for a projection screen that would have the aesthetic features of an edge free design with the added benefit of LED backlighting. It has an internal aluminum framework that is enclosed in a wrap-around material design to create the “edge-free” effect. It also comes with an anodized aluminum 10mm edge bezel for those who still prefer some sort of border on the image. The product is easy-to-assemble and has sliding wall brackets that ensure a perfectly centered installation every time. As an added value, the frame includes a detachable LED backlighting kit with remote to activate its 16 color options and 4 modes.
In addition to this, the Ambient-Light-Rejecting characteristics of the PolarStar 5D material make the projected image superb in either a darkened or brightly illuminated residential or business setting. The award-winning ALR material is an angular-reflective PVC (tensioned) multi-layer screen material with a reflective brightness level of 1.3 gain and a 70º wide viewing angle. The Silver-Gray protective surface coating is a reflective compound that filters out indirect light while enhancing contrast levels. In addition to maintaining exceptional picture brightness and clarity in dark or illuminated rooms, the material is polarized for active or passive 3D presentations while maintaining 92% polarization levels. Lastly, the material is compatible with high definition video modes such as 4K, 1080P, 720P, WXGA and XGA formats. For all these reasons, the PolarStar-eFinity finds a suitable role in either a residential or commercial application.

Elite Screens’ PolarStar-eFinity Projection Screen has a starting price at $ 2248 (USD) and will be first available in either a 100 or 120” (HDTV) 16:9 aspect ratio with more sizes to come. The eFinity projection screens will be available through Elite Prime Vision’s line of dedicated residential & commercial integrator products. It comes with Elite’s limited lifetime manufacturer’s warranty.

A graduate of DeVry Institute of Technology, Doug has been in the Technology industry since 1976 and actively oversees Fearing’s daily operations. Along with his wife, Lois, and three others, Doug started Fearing’s in a 600 square-foot facility in Portage, Wisconsin. In the 25 years since, the company has grown to over 30 employees with offices in Madison and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Doug likes to say he’s a “TV Technician with a dream� going back to his history with the family’s original business-Fearing’s TV and Appliance.
Doug values time with family, watersports, hiking, snowshoeing and skiing. In addition to being a devoted member of his church, Doug serves as Board President for Kinship Mentoring of Columbia County, Board member of Schools for Haiti and Scripture Chair of the Gideons-Portage camp.
A graduate of MATC, Lois oversees Fearing’s daily book keeping along with various HR responsibilities.
Along with Doug, Lois is deeply connected to community outreach, serving as a Board member and Fundraising Committee Chairperson for Kinship Mentoring of Columbia County. She also serves on the Schools for Haiti Fundraising committee. In addition, Lois’ ongoing passion and commitment to provide care for the elderly comes from her 10-year history of working in a Reedsburg, Wisconsin Nursing home.
Lois enjoys singing, hiking, sunny days on the pontoon, and spending time with her 4 grandchildren.
Ehren drives Fearing’s technology by continually seeking out trends to enhance capabilities while supporting Sales, Engineering and Installation teams. Throughout his years with Fearing’s, Ehren’s talent and vision have joined forces to create a wide variety of projects and strategic solutions that exceed expectation.
Ehren loves music, family time, movies, nature, sustainability efforts and electric vehicles.
With 10 years with Fearing’s and over twice that long in the industry, Ben continues to lead, coordinate, and develop the Commercial AV team.

Ben is an avid fisherman and photographer. He enjoys coaching his sons and other youth.
Chris has been with Fearing’s for 20 years and in the industry for over 2 decades. As a Certified leader in Sales Acceleration and trained in EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating Systems), Chris successfully utilizes his skills to lead the Fearing’s Salesforce. Chris and team are motivated and driven to develop new client partnerships while continuing to reinforce loyal long-term relationships with ongoing Service excellence.
Married for 19 years with 3 children, Chris enjoys skiing, hiking, fishing, boating, hunting, camping and golf. He’s also been actively involved as a Youth Football and Softball coach for his family and others.
