U-Boat floor floater from Auralex is a proprietary U-shaped channel used to support a framing member and float (isolate and de-couple) it from the surrounding structure. Made of a specially formulated rubber compound, the use of floaters helps a floated-room deliver greatly improved transmission loss (isolation) and low frequency definition.
