Frontier Conference Center

CHALLENGE

Fort Leavenworth needed an audiovisual and control system for their Frontier Conference Center, capable of supporting integrated HD video conferencing, facility wide audio and video distribution for presentation capabilities, facility-wide paging, digital signage and mobile audiovisual video conferencing support.

SOLUTION

On a fiscally conservative budget, Conference Technologies, Inc. installed both wired and wireless AMX control systems in 12 meeting spaces on two floors including a master control room with an extensive AMX control system that gives operators the ability to operate every system in the facility from the Master Control Room AMX touch panel, the in-room AMX touch panels or the wireless “roaming “AMX touch panel.

IMPACT

"The design of this Ft Leavenworth Frontier Conference Center control system was a major undertaking that would not have been possible without the dedicated support of the AMX Government Design Team. From the time that the Government answered all of the AV contractors questions, all potential bidders only had one week to come up with a highly complex AV and control system design, technical proposal and pricing proposal that would answer the Government’s Statement of Objective (SOO). The AMX support staff helped me layout and develop the design in an incredibly short timeframe. This support from AMX was key in Conference Technologies award of this project. In the end, our AMX programmer completed over 551 hours of touch panel design and layouts and highly complex control system programming to achieve a truly incredible amount of AV system control."
